CONCEPT

We designed the coasters and stickers distributed as novelty goods at the GEMINI Laboratory’s exhibition in Cologne, Germany.

GEMINI Laboratory launched “AltField” this year, a data library that collects information on a wide variety of materials,
There are five virtual spaces for each material theme.
He designed the novelty goods for the exhibition in Cologne, Germany, and art-directed the concept movie.

This time, we designed a tool that expresses each virtual space and the vision of “AltField”.
The coaster expresses the worldview of “AltField,” which constructs a multilayered world with materials and other data, while cutting out the scenery of the virtual space.
The “Mirror World” proposed by GEMINI Laboratory is expressed using foil, with keywords that speak of “AltField” as typography.

The concept movie is designed to take the viewer on a journey through the contents and ideas exhibited, as if the viewer has entered the world of AltField.

GEMINI Laboratoryが2023年にローンチした「AltField」は多様なマテリアルの情報を集めたデータライブラリーで、素材のテーマ別に5つの仮想空間が用意されている。
ドイツのケルンで行われた展示会のノベルティグッズのデザインとコンセプトムービーのアートディレクションを担当した。

それぞれの仮想空間や「AltField」の目指すビジョンをデザインとしてノベルティグッズのコースターとステッカーに落とし込んだ。
コースターでは仮想空間の風景を切り取りながら、素材などのデータで多層な世界を構築する「AltField」の世界観を表現した。
ステッカーでは「AltField」を語るキーワードをタイポグラフィとして交えつつ、GEMINI Laboratoryの提唱する「ミラーワールド」を箔を使って表現した。

コンセプトムービーはAltFieldの世界に鑑賞者が入り込んだような演出で、今回展示されたコンテンツや考え方をめぐる旅ができる構成になっている。
