CONCEPT

“The rice bowl culture” is a food culture unique to Japan that began in the Edo era. The origin of this culture is that the impatient Edo people liked the “quick” and “easy” system of eating food directly on top of rice.
Even today, there are many fast food restaurants throughout Japan that take advantage of the benefits of the rice bowl, but “Kioizaka” has turned this concept on its head by offering Japanese hospitality and delicate flavors.
The concept visual depicted the ingredients in the bowls as the scenery of Edo, and the people eating there with elegance.
